NFT’s & Fashion – Could The Merging of These Become The New “Thing..”?

By now you’ve probably heard about those things called “NFT’s”… But in case you haven’t, then here’s a very quick rundown on what exactly they are.

By now you’ve probably heard about those things called “NFT’s”… But in case you haven’t, then here’s a very quick rundown on what exactly they are.
NFT’s, or Non-Fungible Tokens are essentially a form of data storage. A unit of data (that could be music, video, pictures, art, etc) that are stored on a digital ledger, or a blockchain that then become NFT’s.
SO WHAT DOES THIS MEAN IN TERMS OF OWNERSHIP/COPYING?
A lot of people think that once you own an NFT that it cannot be copied by someone else, however, this is entirely untrue. Someone could very easily take one NFT, copy it, ‘Mint’ it as their own, and then go about trying to re-sell it. There would be nothing stopping anyone from doing that. However, It’s not the fact that an NFT can’t be copied; it’s the fact that the original can never be replicated.

THE ORIGINAL WILL ALWAYS BE TIME-STAMPED BY THE ORIGINAL ARTIST – Much like a signature.
Essentially, an NFT can be used as a ‘proof of ownership’ because the time signature at the moment of creation will always show that it was the very first of its kind.
So, much like the art world, the value of an NFT is in its authenticity. A real Monet can cost tens of millions of dollars, while you can buy an A4 print for $5 on eBay. The same goes with the world of NFT Art. And as the old saying goes; the beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
The masses will decide who’s “Hot” and who’s “Not”.
NFT's MEET FASHION

So now here comes this new idea that NFT’s can be used as proof of ownership of an original physical item. I.e a piece of jewelry that is linked to an NFT as a virtual certificate of authenticity.
This newly established brand is trying to take the world by storm with this new concept.
‘Club Of The Unfakeable’ is set to launch a release of TEN One of A Kind 24K Solid Gold Bracelets – each linked via unique QR code engraved on the back to a virtual certificate of authenticity, stored as an NFT.
